As for the field of application, VVGng-LS flat can be used for laying, in dry and damp industrial premises, on ramps, in mines, collectors, blocks, as well as for laying in the open air. Designed for transmission and distribution of electrical energy in stationary installations for alternating voltage 0.3 / 0.5 kV or 0.6 / 1 kV with a frequency of 50 Hz. For rated voltage 0.3 / 0.5 kV it can be used for electrical systems 0.38 / 0.66 kV.
The scope of use of the VVG type cable is limited only to laying in the ground. Due to the absence of an armored layer, it is not allowed to lay this conductor in a trench without additional protection (for example, pipes). In this case, it is better to use armored cable VBbShv or its analogs made of aluminum.
In the field of domestic needs, VVG is used for laying wiring in walls, cable channels and even on the street (it is recommended to protect it with a corrugation). If you need to use this cable for laying electrical wiring in a wooden house, then on wooden structures it must be laid in a metal hose, corrugation or a non-combustible cable duct.
