The RPSH cable is a power, copper, multi-core flexible cable with rubber insulation, used to connect electrical appliances to the mains and install radio equipment. It differs from its functional counterparts in improved bending properties, which is achieved primarily through the use of a common rubber insulation.
It is based on numerous copper current-carrying conductors made of the finest twisted wires of round cross section. Each copper conductor is individually insulated with rubber based on natural rubber or butadiene rubber. Between the insulated cores there is a thermoplastic film that separates them and does not allow them to stick together when heated. The whole structure is placed in a very flexible rubber hose. In its structure, the RPSh copper cable is similar to a flexible power wire (KG), but, unlike it, it has more conductive wires.

RPSh wire construction:

Scope of wire RPSh:
The wires are intended for connection of fixed installations in electric networks for rated alternating voltage 380 and 660 V, frequency 400 Hz, as well as for installation of radio equipment.
The wires are designed for operation in enclosed spaces in the absence of exposure to direct solar radiation and precipitation. Wires with a core cross section of up to 4 sq. mm are resistant to multiple kinks and withstand at least 500 cycles. Wires with a core cross section of 6 and 10 sq. mm are resistant to bending and can withstand at least 15 double bends.
In addition to industrial facilities, which are characterized by the use of products with a large number of cores and an increased cross section, cables of this variety are widely used in the creation of radio equipment. At home, with their help, voltage is supplied to microwave ovens and other household appliances, a linear part of the lighting system is formed, etc.
RPSH, depending on the version, is divided into three options, which are designed for use in AC networks with voltages up to 380, 660 or 3000 V of household or industrial frequency. When switching to direct current, the rated voltage increases by about 40%
RPSh cable can be made in different versions:
• RPShM. It differs from RPSh in its frost-resistant rubber sheath.
• RPSE. A cable with a winding (screen) made of zinc-coated steel wire. Designed to protect conductive wires from radio interference.
• RPSHEM. Combines the advantages of RPSHE and RPSHEM cables.
• RPSh-T. The RPSH cable is in a tropical version, which means that the sheath of this cable is made of rubber with an antiseptic effect, which is obtained by impregnating the entire cable with a special solution that protects it from bacteria and mold.
For RPSH, the price may vary depending on the version of the cable. RPSE will cost more than a conventional modification due to the increased labor intensity of its manufacture. The price of a flexible cable RPSh mainly depends on the number of cores and the cross section.

The power industrial wire RPSHE is used to connect various machines and mechanisms to the electrical distribution network. Characteristics of the RPSh cable
The thickness of the rubber sheath can vary depending on the thickness of the wire underneath. So, for wires with a diameter of less than 10 mm, a sheath with a thickness of 1.3 mm is used, for wires with a diameter of more than 10 mm – 1.8 mm.
If the installation is performed without preheating the wire, the minimum ambient temperature during laying should not be lower than -15°C. The cable must not be used outdoors or in open areas under the influence of direct sunlight and precipitation.
