Description:
AVBbShvng is an analogue of the power cable of the AVBbShv brand with the only difference – external insulation made of PVC, which does not spread combustion when laying the cable in bundles (denoted by the ng index). AVBbShvng is used for transmission of industrial electricity with a frequency of up to 100 Hz and a nominal voltage of 0.66 / 1 kV or DC voltage up to 2.5 kV.
Deciphering the AVBbShvng cable:
A – Aluminum current-carrying conductor
V – Insulation of cores made of polyvinyl chloride plastic
B – Armor of two steel strips
b – Without a cushion, which is the inner part of the protective cover, placed under the armor in order to prevent the element under it from corrosion and mechanical damage by armor tape or wire.
Shv – Protective cover in the form of a pressed hose from low-flammability polyvinyl chloride plastic
ng – (non-combustible) Reduced fire hazard
AVBbShvng design:
Conductive core: aluminum, twisted or single-wire
Insulation: polyvinyl chloride plastic
Belt insulation: polyvinyl chloride plastic
Armor: steel of two tapes
Protective hose: polyvinyl chloride plastic that does not support combustion
All cores are isolated from each other by an insulating covering from PVC of plastic. Usually for marking of wires excellent coloring of an insulating covering of veins is applied. It is customary to use yellow-green longitudinal stripes to indicate the ground wire. Blue insulation is used to indicate the neutral conductor. To obtain a tight grip, the cores are twisted around the longitudinal axis, forming a cable core.
To prevent the cores from breaking when the cable bends, the core is placed in an inner sheath made of polyvinyl chloride plastic with special additives that reduce the flammability of the material. In cables with a round cross-section of the cores, the inner space between the core and the sheath is filled with harnesses of the same material as the waist sheath itself.
The core with a belt shell is placed in a metal armor to protect the current-carrying cores from mechanical and electrical damage during operation under the influence of various external factors. The armor is made by winding two metal strips with a zinc anti-corrosion coating. In this case, the armor is not allowed to stretch the cable.
A layer of polyethylene terephthalate can be applied to the armor and then there is an external protective hose insulation made of PVC plastic, which also has non-combustible properties. The hose protects the armor from moisture, chemically aggressive gases and liquids, sunlight, high temperatures and stray ground currents, thus ensuring a long service life of the cable.
Scope:
The AVBbShvng aluminum power cable is used mainly for laying in external electrical installations and overpasses. They can be used in rooms with high humidity and fire hazard, in explosive areas. In soil and under water, the cable is laid in pipes or cable ducts that protect it from mechanical loads. When laying the air, the cable must be attached to the supporting cable, which eliminates the action of tensile forces.
